I'm Michelle Scharlau, the founder of Martian Salsa. I grew up in Albuquerque, NM. The fertile soil from the Rio Grande and the summer rains along with the desert sun produced crops for my ancestors. They made savory meals that were distinctly New Mexican, a blend of Spanish and Mexican cuisine. Growing up, fresh salsa with chips was one of the harvest's bounty. By fresh, I mean there are no additives, no preservatives, and there are all natural ingredients. To this day, I still plant a garden every year and my family and friends enjoy the fresh salsa produced from it. Now I'm making it on a larger scale for everyone else to try this premium gourmet salsa.
